Katia Atman

Katia AtmanKatia Atman began studying Ayurvedic medicine 6 years ago at the Mount Madonna Institute and is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. For the last 5 years she has worked as a Pancha Karma technician, deepening her knowledge of the hands-on healing dimension of this ancient medical science. Supporting people through this intimate and often intense detox process, has given her a deeper perspective of the various levels of consciousness that need to be addressed for real healing to occur.

This interest in the deeper layers of our being has guided her to explore more holistic ways of supporting the healing journey. These include working with women around birth, supporting them through the crucial postpartum period with Ayurvedic therapies and herbs, as well as integrating the deep cyclical knowledge of Ayurveda with women's intuitive awareness of their womb cycles. She believes that when we remember our cyclical nature, we come into greater connection and healing with ourselves and mother earth, the great womb in which we are all held.
